There’s never a dull moment at our offices! We recently created a Christmas video for our client, TTI Inc. Shot entirely at our office, this video is a little snip-it of what our team and neighbors got to hear during filming - and the car is just plain awesome.
We started this project brainstorming ideas for TTI’s holiday card and thought a video would fit in nicely with the rest of TTI’s Specialist campaign. With help from our friends at Track Daddy Productions for filming and editing, TTI’s “holiday card” is a must see.
View the the Christmas video here, can you believe this was shot in a 1/2 day?
Also, be sure to look for the two Schaefer people that make their film debuts - Oscar will be calling.

A Schaefer Christmas Party
Everyone’s doing it…It’s time to make the rounds at company Christmas parties. This year we added a twist to our extravaganza. We started the night by spreading a little Christmas cheer to our fellow Fort Worthians (Is that word?? I’m still relatively new here) in Sundance Square, hopped on a party bus, dined at our office and finished the night at Pete’s Piano Bar.
Did I mention we were in costume? Here are a few notable look-a-likes from our group.

Stay jolly,

That’s a Wrap!
This past week was a whirlwind. Wednesday through Sunday, more than six months of work came to fruition at:
The Lone Star International Film Festival
Our team provides marketing, PR and a splash of creative support to the festival. If you didn’t make it out - you missed out because it was a SUCCESS! Check out a DFW.com article and learn for yourself.

Above is a glimpse of opening night: Our friends from Red Productions walked the red carpet to support their film Searching for Sonny along with Nick Krause from The Descendents.
Notice the step and repeat? Thought so; compliments of our production artist, Colton. Colton also put all of the print and web ads together.
Despite the many awesome films, my highlight was meeting the great Willie Nelson! Willie was honored with the Stephen Bruton Award at this year’s gala. In between the red carpet and working with the Star Telegram’s photographer, we managed to get a photo.
It’s a little blurry, but you get the picture (pun intended).
Want more proof of the festival’s success? There’s a lot, but check out these articles:
Cheers to the Lone Star team and all the volunteers! Now, let’s gear up for next year.

Love this video and was a little surprised by the source. We’re really pleased to be supporting the local and natural food movement with clients such as Chef Jon Bonnell. (Bonnell has been serving up farm-to-table cuisine since before it was trendy, btw, and still does it better than anyone in town.)
Incidentally, the music in this video is performed by Willie Nelson, who will be receiving the Stephen Bruton Award during the Lone Star International Film Festival in Sundance Square - starting November 9th. Check it out.

Bonnell’s Once Again Ranked As One of the Best Restaurants in the Country!

Chef Jon Bonnell proves that he’s one of the best chefs in the country. Bonnell’s Fine Texas Cuisine received a Zagat Food Score of 29 out of a possible 30.
Only 30 restaurants in the country – and only four others in Texas – share that high of a score.
And, USA Today noted that Bonnell’s is the top restaurant destination in Dallas-Fort Worth for business travelers.
That’s huge! So excited for Jon and his staff. And, so glad that we now get to be part of the team!

They Like Us, They Really Like Us!
We haven’t actually won anything (yet!), but our swanky new home has captured attention again.
Our circa 1914 building has been nominated for a Historic Fort Worth, Inc. 2011 Historic Preservation Award. Winners will be announced on September 21. (Fingers crossed!)
The Fairmount National Historic District also featured the building in its August newsletter, giving some details on the history as well as techniques and features used in the restoration. Want a peak inside our place? Check out pics from our open house or the feature in 360 West Magazine’s August issue.

Dallas Business Journal Highlights The Tribute
Looks like the future is bright for The Tribute, a gorgeous development on Lake Lewisville. Schaefer Advertising Co. has worked with Matthews Southwest on marketing initiatives for The Tribute and also for one of the developments award-winning golf courses, The Old American. We developed the logo, collateral assets and the website for this stunning golf course. We’re thrilled to see this development picking up momentum again. If you’re in the neighborhood, check it out.

Never a Line Down
Check out this action-packed continuation of the movie trailer-themed video campaign for TTI. The strategy for this campaign is to highlight the extraordinary measures that TTI will go to keep its customers’ lines up and running, using The Specialist - TTI’s own super agent. We had plenty of inspiration for this campaign - we heard so many real stories from TTI and its customers that you almost wouldn’t believe James Bond himself could perform.
The video campaigns have been a hit with TTI’s target audience and are supported by a fully integrated campaign including online advertising, direct e-marketing, print and public relations. Stay tuned for more from our action hero soon.
