Advertising Account Coordinator

Blanchard Schaefer Advertising & Public Relations is seeking an eager account coordinator to help support our growing roster of accounts. We offer a high-paced, diverse work experience, with a unique and dynamic culture, and we’ve just made the move to some swanky new offices in Fort Worth, right in the heart of Magnolia Avenue.

This new account coordinator will provide daily support to our clients and be intrinsically involved in marketing and media planning, media buying and project management.

The ideal candidate is an energetic, enthusiastic, results-oriented individual who has up to two years of experience with a degree in advertising/public relations or business marketing. You should be a passionate communicator who is not afraid to speak up and enjoys learning new skills through firsthand experience, rather than observing from afar. Other ideal traits include the ability to effectively handle multiple assignments at one time and with a cool head, resourcefulness, a penchant to have fun and a positive outlook.

Public Relations Account Coordinator

Love to write? Social media addict? Word and grammar geek? Blanchard Schaefer Advertising & Public Relations might have the next big opportunity for your career. The agency is seeking a public relations account coordinator or junior AE to help support its growing roster of PR accounts. We offer a high-paced, diverse work experience, with a unique and dynamic culture, and we’ve just made the move to some swanky new offices in Fort Worth, right in the heart of Magnolia.

The ideal candidate is energetic and enthusiastic. You’ll need one to three years of experience, either via post-college or internship work and a demonstrable track record of successful writing. We’re looking for someone adept at a number of different writing styles and outlets, including news releases, case studies, feature stories, bylined articles, and social media such as Facebook, Twitter and blogs.

The candidate will possess the following attributes:
•    Enthusiasm and energy
•    Detail oriented
•    Ability to multi-task with out becoming rattled
•    Dependable
•    Self-starter
•    The ability to be assertive
•    Possesses an overall knowledge of the business environment
•    Mature

Qualifications:
•    College degree, preferably in public relations, communications or journalism.
•    One to three years of experience that meets the above skill requirements. Recent graduates must demonstrate applicable experience, either from internships or other work experience. Be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Be able to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities. Have an eye for detail and solid organization skills. Be highly motivated and settle for nothing less than success. Have the ability to contribute to the culture of our company.
